Katrina Gudgeon – Costume making workshops for opening ceremony

16 October- 13 November 1pm – 4.30 pm Ryans Road, Uki
From basic sewing to prosthetics made with latex. All aspects of costume construction will be covered. The costumes we will be making in this series of workshops are animal beings from the local area, echidna, bats, goanna, sugar glider, water dragon and more. Make them and see them come alive at the opening on festival weekend.

Hamilton Barnett- XTreme Teens

Every Wednesday -5-6:30 Murwillumbah
XTreme Teen is a forum for high school age boys of all skill levels to learn, practice and demonstrate acrobatic and parkour skills.   At the opening ceremony the XTreme Teen crew will be flying through the air, doing their hard core, high energy demo, accompanied by live youth music. XTreme Teen trains and is open to all skill levels.

Vibrant Imaging – Love Digital Photography Workshop A

2 x 4 hours  3rd and 10th of October  1.30 to 5.30pm (incl afternoon tea) Smiths Creek Rd
Learn the camera techniques and artistic skills to capture your vision of the world around you! In this 2 session workshop we will do our best to answer your specific needs and interests. We will help you take your photography to the next level and find how to get the best out of your camera. The workshops will culminate in a display of your photographs as part of the Images of Uki exhibition.

Lana TyackeWhimsical Ferro cement bowls

6x 3hrs commencing 4th October Monday 10-1pm   Pretty Gully Studios.
Create your own water feature or planter bowl. Ferro cement  has endless sculptural potential. You will explore shaping wire and building the armature. Your creativity will be stimulated by the entire process.
