Andrea Soler

anda chair land_8722cMulti award winning chanteuse Andrea Soler grew up in a bohemian family of Spanish and French descent. A free spirited ‘pied noir’ with a beguiling “childish whimsy” NREcho and a voice like wild honey, smooth, warm and earthy. Musically Andrea Soler is the untamed mountain lovechild of Joni Mitchell and Ricky Lee Jones with a hip Parisian edge.

Andrea has won a legion of fans and respect with her performances of Joni Mitchell’s songs in the Northern Rivers “Smash Hit’ The Songs of the Haight Ashbury Stage Show” showcased at the recent Byron Bay Bluesfest.

Her performances described  as “perfect” NREcho.

Last year, Andrea received international acclaim for her enchanting shows at festivals and concerts throughout ten countries in Europe, and is now preparing for her third folk tour in Europe in July 2013 with shows including Rudolstadt (Germany’s largest folk festival), the Edinburgh Fringe and many more with her guitarist, James Ross.

Since the release of Andrea’s single ‘Daydreamer’ (recorded at Abbey Road Studios, London), from her forth coming album (to be released in Australia, Summer 2013) she has become a festival sweetheart, and claimed “A Larmer Tree Festival favourite (UK)”. She has performed at the renowned Woodford Folk Festival, The National Folk Festival, Mullum Music Festival to name a few, and has also won them ABC North Coast Artist of The Week, and more recently became a 2012 Music Oz Awards Finalist and took out 2012 ‘Female Vocals’ and ‘Adult Contemporary Songwriter’ categories at The 2012 North Coast Music Industry Awards in Australia.
